Charnwood is a privately owned family business based on the Isle of Wight. Established in 1972 they have become one of the foremost stove companies in Europe specialising in the manufacture of fine fireplaces and stoves. As a company they believe in taking a strong ethical approach to every area of business wether it be in how they design and build their stoves, or the impact that the products have on the environment.
The stoves are designed and built to last. Even 34 years after their manufacture there are still some Charnwood stoves going strong and giving service as they continue to heat homes.
The stoves are built on the factory floor at Charnwood using a combination of high tech precision mahcinery and skilled hand work. Many of the Charnwood employees have been with the company for over 20 years seeing the company grow from strength to strength, from a company producing a few hundred stoves a year to one producing thousands of stoves a year that are sold world wide.
